Free Time

Let them loose! In school, they're all cooped up and finally the time comes where they can just jump and run and play! That day it was cold, but Javin and Alexander had their blood pumping. Usually we all
"climb the mountain." They
love that.

After Homework Delight

Hello! This picture really portrays the children's love for music. Sometimes they'll be imitating rap or maybe rock, but they are fascinated with instruments. At home, loud, heavy metal or a blaring TV goes on and on. Then that poor little child comes to our church and see's this beautiful, soft sounding piano, or my zither (40 year old string instrument). Pastor Vincent says that these kid's homes are terrible. Please keep on praying!

David the King

Hail him! As soon as Jordan saw that crown he raised his hand and said, "ME ME ME!" He knew that the crown would hide his shaved head. Well, then he saw that he had to wear a dress and barely stood still long enough for me to take a picture or two. Well, I think he fit the part. Don't you?

David the Warrior

Whoa! Better step back, this will be pretty gruesome. Ooh, ouch. Egh, Javin, you can stop now. I wouldn't like to be there in real life, but in an air conditioned class room it looks really fun! No wonder boys think thats cool. This is the part that Alexander regreted being a shepherd the most. All the kids thought that the soldier thing was awesome. Poor Daniel, he wasn't there. Have a great day!!!

David the Musician

Hey there! Mercedes simply wanted to be David the musician because of the purty instrument. She loves to try things, its cute. Why'll she was strumming with a hard note on the end, my mom read a psalm. Mercedes was quite entranced most of the time, but then got embarassed.

David the Shepherd

Today the lesson was about David. We talked about all the different things he was. My mom and I brought some dress up clothes and had them pretend to be all the certain jobs. The first thing we talked about is how David was a shepherd. When we asked for a vollunteer, Alexander, of course, was the first one to raise his hand. Later on when he saw all the other cool things he was miserable and regreted choosing a shepherd. Poor thing.
